War & Peace 2010

Just got back from War & Peace 2010 – the superb annual military show held at the Hop Farm close to Paddock Wood in Kent. The event attracts thousands of living historians, and there are hundreds of military vehicles on display. There is also a huge militaria market, where almost everything possible is for sale! The living history displays are pretty good, and some are excellent. The ‘Blitz’ display, which many people just walked by, was good – the ruins of a house with all sorts of personal stuff amongst the rubble. Strangely moving in its own way. Also good to see many WW2 veterans present. My full set of photos is here:
